Butler, though, scored the next 10 points and eventually took a 39-16 lead into the locker room.

The Bulldogs opened the second half with a 15-5 run and had a 54-21 lead on a Campbell three-pointer a little over seven minutes in.

Butler led by as many as 30 points down the stretch as Illinois-Chicago never came close to threatening.
